Dr. Nola Radford听has been with UT听since听2016.听 She believes the heart of her job is
to support effective clinical听teaching and research for development of future clinicians.
At the same time, modeling effective听practices requires some continuing hands-on experiences.听Dr.
Radford's听recent work shows her concern and enthusiasm for effective clinical assessment
and intervention, as well as student mentoring (Clinical Fellow mentoring) and provision
of excellent clinical educator development through the bonding that occurs relative
to serving clients and students.听听She听has collaborated with clinical teams consisting
of graduate and undergraduate students in speech-language pathology, psychologists,
educators, social workers,听physicians with specialties ranging from ENT to public
health.听听She has often developed specialty group clinics for children and families
with high interest in improving the social opportunities for children with communication
disorders.听Additionally,听Dr. Radford听has听provided consultation to school districts
in Arkansas, Texas and Mississippi relative to continuing education in speech-language
pathology.
