Dr. Nola RadfordÌýhas been with UTÌýsinceÌý2016.Ìý She believes the heart of her job is to support effective clinicalÌýteaching and research for development of future clinicians. At the same time, modeling effectiveÌýpractices requires some continuing hands-on experiences.ÌýDr. Radford'sÌýrecent work shows her concern and enthusiasm for effective clinical assessment and intervention, as well as student mentoring (Clinical Fellow mentoring) and provision of excellent clinical educator development through the bonding that occurs relative to serving clients and students.ÌýÌýSheÌýhas collaborated with clinical teams consisting of graduate and undergraduate students in speech-language pathology, psychologists, educators, social workers,Ìýphysicians with specialties ranging from ENT to public health.ÌýÌýShe has often developed specialty group clinics for children and families with high interest in improving the social opportunities for children with communication disorders.ÌýAdditionally,ÌýDr. RadfordÌýhasÌýprovided consultation to school districts in Arkansas, Texas and Mississippi relative to continuing education in speech-language pathology.
