Longtime Chattanooga native and Orthopaedic Surgeon, C. Robert Clark, MD, passed away on July 5, 2019. ÌýHe had served as a member of the Erlanger Board of Trustees and was the 2nd Associate Dean and Director for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, The Tennessee Surgeon General, and a founder of the region's Emergency Medical Service for Hamilton County, TN, and the surrounding area.

Dr. Pizzorno has also been named as the Chief Research Officer for Erlanger Health System.
