Apply for Residency

The University of Tennessee Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program participates in both the American Dental Education Association’s (ADEA) Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS) and the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program (The Match).

Required to Apply

  • Completed application through the Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS).
  • Must be enrolled in or a graduate of an ADA-accredited United States or Canadian dental school.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must report postdoctoral Dental Match Program Code in PASS Application.
  • Must submit a 2” x 2” photograph. You can submit the photograph as part of your CV in your PASS application, or email it directly to Linda Turks
  • Must submit an official CBSE score report.

Required Prior to Enrollment

  • Must have passed the Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) or both Parts 1 and 2 of the National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) 
  • Must have earned a DMD/DDS degree, or equivalent, from an ADA-accredited United States or Canadian dental school.
