Part of our mission at the Hamilton Eye Institute is to transfer skills and knowledge to the next generation of physicians and researchers through a world-class ophthalmic medical education program.
As an academic department of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, the Hamilton Eye Institute provides education for medical students, training for ´Ç±è³ó³Ù³ó²¹±ô³¾´Ç±ô´Ç²µ²âÌý°ù±ð²õ¾±»å±ð²Ô³Ù²õ, and fellowship subspecialty training in orbit/oculoplastics, vitreoretinal surgery, ocular oncology, and pediatric ophthalmology. We also hold as an integral component of our mission the ongoing education of practicing ophthalmologists through post-graduate continuing medical education.
