Rookie of the Year: Eric Beveridge, DO
All Pediatric residents voted on an intern who demonstrated teamwork, hardwork, and a great attitude.Ìý
Cathy Stevens Award: Austin Clark, MD
Tim Thomas, MD, was a graduate of the UT College of Medicine Chattanooga Pediatrics
program.
He went on do to fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and currently works in Dallas,
Texas.
He is providing a $2000 scholarship each year to a second year resident who is a go-getter, who always stays to see the last clinic patient, and the resident whom everyone enjoys working with.Ìý The scholarship provides funds for the resident and family to attend a conference of their choice.ÌýÂ

Medical Student Teacher of the Year: Matthew Holland, DO
This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership qualities and superior teaching abilities, as evaluated by medical students. Â
Six Pack Award: Kaitlyn Haritatos, MD
This award is a gift from the Class of 2013, a class of 6 graduates that worked hard to accomplish great things despite their small numbers and overcoming many obstacles.Ìý
This award goes to the resident that has overcome an obstacle during residency, was able to stick to the program and continue to work hard.
Pediatric Hospital Medicine Outstanding Resident Award: Ali Stedke, DO
This award is given to the resident that exemplifies outstanding effort in patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and communication with patients and medical staff on the pediatric hospital medicine service.

This award goes to a resident at any level that scores the highest on the ABP In-training Exam.Ìý
Alper Award: Ali Stedke, DO
This award is presented to a graduating Resident or Fellow at the UTHSC College of Medicine-Chattanooga who has consistently demonstrated, during residency or fellowship, the humanistic qualities for which the late Dr. Harold Alper was known: integrity, compassion, and community service.
