Lindsay Wise, MD
Bio
Dr. Wise was born in Florida, but spent most of her childhood in Tennessee. She completed
a BS in Music Performance and MMu in Orchestral Conducting at Austin Peay State University
prior to attending medical school at UTHSC. In her spare time, she and her husband,
Caleb, enjoy taking their toddler to Shelby Farms, the Memphis Zoo, museums, and the
Memphis Botanic Garden. She hopes to explore all the US National Parks with her beautiful
family in the coming years. Lindsay is beyond thrilled to continue her medical training
in Memphis, following in the footsteps of her amazing late mother, Dr. Sharon Snapp.
Sapna Shah, MD
Bio
Dr. Shah was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She attended Case Western Reserve
University for undergrad where she received a BA in Biology with a minor in Spanish
and Chemistry. She then returned home for medical school at University of Kansas School
of Medicine – Wichita. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants,
baking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. Sapna is very excited to
join the peds team at UTHSC and begin her new adventure in Memphis!

Winston Wolters, MD
Bio
Dr. Wolters was born in Memphis and raised in Germantown, Tennessee. He attended Ole
Miss where he received his BA in Biology. He attended medical school at The University
of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. In his free time, Winston enjoys
spending time with his wife and two dogs, intramural sports, landscaping, and watching
movies.

Brittany Gerald, MD
Bio
Dr. Gerald was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, where she grew up riding and showing
horses mostly in 4-H. She went to college at Arizona State University and rode on
the equestrian team there while double-majoring in Developmental Biology/Genetics
and Biochemistry. During undergrad, she was a research intern in a neurodevelopmental
genomics lab that focused on rare childhood disorders, working mostly on Rett Syndrome
projects. For medical school she went to University of Arizona College of Medicine
Phoenix, where her research shifted to pediatric TBIs. Brittany is excited to be coming
to Tennessee and is bringing her 14-yer old cat, Sparta, and 9-month-old puppy, Winnie!
Her horse, Maggie, is staying in Arizona for now.

Max Goodsell, MD
Bio
Dr. Goodsell is a graduate of ATSU Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and
excited to pursue Pediatric Neurology at UTHSC. Prior to that, Dr. Goodsell attended
BYU Idaho where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He has found great
joy in working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities. Dr.
Goodsell has lived all over the country from California to North Carolina but finds
the food in Memphis hard to beat. In his free time, Max enjoys playing with his French
bulldog, tending to his garden, and hiking, especially during the Appalachian fall.
